Making AI Healthy for Humans
OncoWiz brings oncology AI research, clinical education and interactive applications into one structured platform, organized around oncology divisions and content types — so clinicians stop hunting across scattered sources.
Dr Aditya Narayan
More than 25 years of experience in clinical and radiation oncology, practising in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India — combining clinical work with the thoughtful and responsible use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
- MBBS, MD (Radiotherapy)
- DNB (Radiotherapy)
- AI in Healthcare · CEP, IIT Delhi
- AI in Healthcare · NBE, New Delhi
Vision
To bridge clinical oncology expertise with responsible artificial intelligence.
“Making AI Healthy for Humans.”
Why OncoWiz
Clinical Expertise
25+ years of oncology practice behind every editorial decision.

Evidence-Based
Limitations stated as clearly as findings.
Training and recognition
MBBS and MD in Radiotherapy from NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, followed by DNB in Radiotherapy from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. His professional journey has included leadership and consultant roles in leading cancer centres across India.
Academic work recognised with the Dr G. N. Shroff Gold Medal for a best paper presentation and the S. Takahashi Memorial Fellowship in Nagoya, Japan, for a workshop on advanced radiation techniques.
Why AI
His interest in artificial intelligence grew from a simple clinical question — how can rapidly evolving technology be made genuinely useful, trustworthy and safe for patients and healthcare professionals?
To build a stronger foundation, he completed certificate programmes in AI in Healthcare from CEP, IIT Delhi, and the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi — with healthcare capstone projects in machine learning and modern deep learning, including convolutional neural networks and vision transformers.
Work in oncology AI
Dr Narayan is particularly interested in evaluating AI systems for oncology with an emphasis on trust, reproducibility, consistency and clinical reliability — practical methods for assessing large language models, comparing independent AI opinions, and examining how AI tools perform before they are considered for clinical use.
He has also developed a software system for converting unstructured patient reports into structured oncology summaries, for which he obtained a Government of India copyright in 2026.
Why OncoWiz exists
OncoWiz is an extension of this journey: a practical educational space where clinicians, students and healthcare professionals can understand artificial intelligence without being overwhelmed by technical jargon.
The aim is not to replace clinical judgement with machines, but to help healthcare professionals understand what AI can do, where it can fail, and how it can be used responsibly.
